NM Tech Hydrology Field Camp

The Hydrology program at NM Tech is pleased to offer a 2-week field camp designed to train students and professionals in cutting-edge field methods for the study and monitoring of groundwater and surface waters.

Three- to five-day modules are taught by faculty with specializations in aquifer mechanics, fluvial and groundwater systems, hydrogeochemistry, and geophysical methods in hydrology.

The summer 2017 field camp runs from Thursday, July 6th to Wednesday, July 19th. Based at NM Tech in Socorro, the camp will have activities at Valles Caldera National Preserve, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge, and Kirtland Air Force Base, all in New Mexico.
